Add a business phone number
Search by area code, activate a Company line, and complete messaging registration.

Open Phone → My numbers → Add number. Search directly by US area code, or choose a state to see its available area codes. State is optional because many states have several codes.
Activate the line
Review the monthly number price and initial prepaid communication balance, then confirm the immediate charge. The number appears in My numbers after activation.
Register messaging
Voice may become available before SMS. Complete the Company identity, use case, sample messages, opt-in method, and required carrier forms. Do not send marketing messages until registration and consent requirements are satisfied.
Important: Releasing a number can be permanent. Export any history and confirm the warning before release.
